It's been a while people.

Firstly we’d like to announce our more regular return to Manchester’s club scene as we embark on a new monthly Saturday night at our new home – MOHO Live which is set to be one of the most exciting new venues to open in Manchester for a long time.
A 500 capacity, 2-roomed space with two bars Mo- Ho Live is a live music venue, which will also feature club nights. It's located on Tib St inbetween Sachas Hotel and Afflecks Palace.

Below are the details of our first two parties at Moho Live. Firstly our launch party and secondly our New Years Eve party.

ROOM 1
REVERSO 68 (ESKIMO RECORDINGS)

With a record buying pedigree par excellence, Phil Mison and Pete Herbert have honed the Reverso 68 sound for the beach, the bar and most definitely the dancefloor.  Taking in everything we like best about all that is Disco, House, Balearic and Kosmiche and reflecting this diversity in their DJ sets and Productions on upfront labels such as Eskimo, they always take care of business. As a duo they first came to our attention with the release of "Piece Together" which they followed up with the dancefloor belters "Especial" and Tokyo Disco" as well as remixes for Manhead, Bent and The Juan Maclean. Whilst individually, they need no further introductions.(Cafe Del Mar, Frontera, Bakazou L.S.B. etc)  We are double excited to welcome the chaps to christen our new home at MoHo Live. As ever, DJ support comes from our most excellent residents, Neil Diablo and Danny Webb.

ROOM 2
REJEKTS (DIRTYBIRD)
Joining them on the bill is Iain Taylor's Rejekts collective.  Doyens of this Summer's Underground Warehouse scene in Manchester and renowned party animals, they'll be taking over Room 2 for the whole night and "tech"ing no shit.  With the first release on their eponymously named label, "Es Kubells" rightfully taking the plaudits (Piccadilly Records Techno release of the week) and productions on Claude Von Stroke's Dirtybird imprint we're proud to welcome them over to showcase the Rejekt vibe and sound at El Diablos for the first time.

NEW YEAR’S EVE 2007/08

MoHo Live, Tibb St, Northern Quarter, Manchester
10pm – 5am

£10 EARLYBIRD / £15 ADVANCE / MORE ON THE DOOR
TICKETS: Ticketweb.co.uk
/ Piccadilly Records / Fat City

ROOM 1
PRINS THOMAS
(FULL PUPP / ESKIMO RECORDINGS)

Two thousand zero, zero, party over, oops out of time.  In a way.
It’s NYE and Prins Thomas is going to party like it’s 1999, 89 and 79.  With influences spanning the decades, Thomas delivers sets taking in techno, house, disco, koshmiche, rock and whatever else in his own inimitable, energetic style.  The main man of Full Pupp and Intersasjonal labels back in his native Oslo, Thomas is responsible for producing some fierce, discoid mayhem with tracks like “Ferrara” and “Elan” as well as remixing Justus Kohncke, 20:20 Soundsystem, Toby Tobias and Simian Mobile Disco.

With his first mix CD to land in the stores (Cosmo Galactic Prism), an RA mix that’s off the dial, remixes imminent for DFA, more collaboration with Lindstrom and a flurry of releases from his labels on the way, 2008 is looking righteous for Thomas and it’s fitting that we have him kicking the door wide open and ushering in the New Year for us at MoHo.  It would, quite simply, be rude not to.

Obviously it wouldn’t be an El Diablo’s Party without our residents Neil Diablo and Danny Webb

ROOM 2
FRIENDS OF MUSIC

Room 2 is to be occupied by our very own Freaky Beatnik Danny Webb, Steve ‘the hitman’ Perry  and their band of Psyche dissidents known as “Friends Of Music”  Expect the unexpected and trust no one.  Acid Folk to Afro Beat via a Xyclon B dustcloud…..
