For those that can’t wait for Santa to empty his sack all over them, here’s an early Christmas present from us here at El Diablo’s Social Club and our friends from Sri Lanka – tuktuk. Check out their Autumn / Winter collection at wearetuktuk.com
Striving, as always, to underline the link between sartorial distinction and successful DJing, El Diablo’s mainman Neil Scott has put together a mixtape for gentlemen’s bespoke outfitters of note, TukTuk. It’s a deeply cosmic affair, featuring one of his own solo productions, ‘For Your Love’ (KAT EDIT), and comes housed in a Casey Jones striped fabric pocket with button fastening.
Available from Piccadilly Records.
Just in time for the weekend we deliver this tremendous new blend from one time Diablo, Ex-Cosmic Disco.co.uk supremo and current Emotional Pop.co.uk Star, Simon “Baggy”Ashton.
An astute crate digger, as his work on the Cosmic Disco site testifies, he’s also all over the trendy new genres like the cast of skins over a teenth of MKAT.
He’s presented us a mix that’s more Chillwave and Dubstep (could he be anymore down da kidz ?) and it’s nothing but absolutely, completely off the dial, or whatever The XX and that say.
Get on the vibe, i guarantee it will enhance your weekend. Check the tracklist ;
The Bad Passion Project, as you should know, is a posse of Dee Jays and promotors who specialise in bringing the disco pain to the London underground. With a similar taste in bookings to our good selves and a rep to protect for providing a fierce party in a sexy shithole (their venue not anus), the lads have been nice and safe in their attitude enough to furnish us with this bellisimo blend. Andy, Chris, Daniel, we salute you. (in a way).
If you’re on the prowl in London Town this Saturday night (19th Feb), you’d be foolish in the mind not to check out their do with Phil South and Anton Esteban from Golf Channel, deets below ;

Read MoreHoly Fwok ! We’re seven years old this month. SEVEN! Well I never. Seven years of getting fully involved and meaning it. Seven years of basements and barges, glitterballs and gurners, dancefloors and dankfloors. Still ready, still on it. Here’s to seven more fools. Don’t let up.
And the man we’ve enlisted to bring the party is Stevie Kotey. Like a Captain of modern Disco, Stevie is a leader of the scene in the truest sense. He brought the colossal talents of people Prins Thomas & Lindstrom, Windsurf, Fabrizio Mammarella, Lexx, Mudd, Blackbelt Andersen, Todd Terje, Brennan Green and DJ Kent to many people’s consciousness for the first time via his Big Bear, Bear Funk and Full Pupp labels. Compiler of the belting Disco Italia collection and a DJ Kicks mix, Stevie is an almost omnipresent remixer and producer as well as pushing the scene forward as a label owner. Oh yes, he’s also in Chicken Lips too by the way, yup.
It’s an immense privilege to welcome Stevie to Diablos for his debut, his DJ skills and musical influence we hold in the highest regard, as will you once he’s mauled the dancefloor Big Bear style.
Hold tight, it’s party time.

Disco Deviance is the ten ton bomb of an edits label from Dicky Trisco that’s providing a platform for new assaults on discoid past by production geniuses such as Greg Wilson, Reverso 68, Andrew Allsgood, Ashley Beedle and the ace Social Disco Club. Alongside Mindless Boogie, here we have a label opening up the doors of disco and the eclectic to an audience that may never have discovered such dancefloor treasures any other way, whilst presenting the track in an alien form to it’s original incarnation.
Dicky Trisco will be delivering a sermon in the ethos of his label, if it’s good and you can dance to it ; play it and meld it together. Balearic in approach, a sound that cannot and should not be defined. It’s music to dance to and it’s from all over the shop. Nothing snazzier than that. Get me yo?. Disco, Electro-Funk, House, Boogie…it don’t matter, just get down and dance the night away, hey.
Returning to the bill once again, Cosmic Boogie is providing support on vibes, sounds and bar takings. He’s put his own edits out on Disco Deviance and runs his own label that has featured output from Wilson & Beedle too as well as the legendary Ian Dewhirst. Next up is the debut release from hotly tipped rookie, our very own Neil Diablo. This will be a weighty drop, believe you me.
