WATSON – TO RACK & RUIN VOL.3
The next installment of Manchester institution El Diablo’s Social Club’s ‘To Rack & Ruin’ edits series comes from Preston lad Paul Watson AKA Watson.
Paul has been a friend of the El Diablo’s crew for many years since working at Fat City – one of Manchester’s finest record shops which is now sadly defunct. The discovery of the edit however was due to Cottam playing it at a Paper Recordings party in Manchester early in 2012.
Side A is a splendid edit of the massive Millie Jackson track which was sampled for the Carl Craig remix of Tom Trago’s – ‘Use Me Again’ track.
Side B is a sleazy slo number with some lovely layered beats.
Early DJ support comes from Cottam, Crazy P, Eric Duncan and PBR Streetgang.
